Most people hesitate at this question, and the hesitation is expensive. An emergency department is built for emergencies — it will not move faster for a sore throat, and it will cost considerably more. Urgent care handles the large middle ground: things that genuinely need attention today but are not life-threatening.

Sanova publishes flat self-pay prices. You should not have to guess what a visit will cost, and you should not find out six weeks later in an envelope.
Most major plans are accepted — Medicare, AHCCCS, Tricare, UnitedHealthcare, Optum, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Arizona Complete Health and Humana. HSA and FSA cards are accepted for eligible services. If you carry Medicare Advantage or a supplement, bring that card too, since it is what determines your copay.
Before your deductible is met, running a visit through insurance often costs more than simply paying the posted self-pay rate. Ask at check-in which way works out cheaper for your situation — it is a normal question and the front desk is used to it.
The last pill is gone, the pharmacy says there are no refills left, and your primary care office is booked out for weeks or closed for the weekend. Sanova can see you as a walk-in and provide a short-term supply to bridge the gap until your regular provider can take over — blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid, asthma and COPD inhalers, selected diabetes medications, migraine maintenance therapy, reflux and other stable, non-controlled maintenance medications.

No appointment is ever needed! Sanova Urgent Care is a dedicated walk-in clinic located on Oracle Road. You can simply walk in Monday through Saturday from 7:00
AM to 7:00 PM for prompt medical attention.

For non-life-threatening conditions like sprains, minor cuts needing stitches, colds, or the flu, our urgent care on Oracle Rd is faster and significantly more affordable than the ER. For life-threatening emergencies, such as chest pain or severe bleeding, please call
911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Yes. Sanova Urgent Care accepts Medicare and Tricare, along with UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Arizona Complete Health, Aetna, Cigna, Humana and AHCCCS. Bring your insurance card and a photo ID. If you are not sure about your specific plan, call us at (520) 232-2525 before you come in.
A self-pay urgent care visit is $140. If you need an X-ray, it is $75, and school or sports physicals are $45. Prices are posted up front, so you know the cost before you are seen.
Yes. We have digital X-ray on site, so sprains and possible fractures can be imaged during the same walk-in visit, with no referral or second trip needed. The self-pay price for an X-ray is $75.
Yes. We offer same-day telehealth video visits for patients who are located in Arizona at the time of the visit. If your provider decides you need to be seen in person, you can walk in Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM. Need a medication refill? See online medication refills in Arizona.
