Terms & Conditions

Effective date: September 18, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of sanovaurgentcare.com (the “Site”), operated by Sanova Urgent Care and Sanova Medical Group (“Sanova,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

This page covers three things: Terms of Use · Website Privacy Statement · Corporate Compliance

Terms of Use

This site is not medical advice

The content on this Site is general health information published for educational purposes. It is not a substitute for a medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed clinician, and reading it does not create a patient relationship with Sanova. Never delay seeking care, or disregard advice you have already received from a clinician, because of something you read here.

If you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not use this Site, our contact forms, or text messages to report an emergency. Signs that need emergency care rather than urgent care include chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, uncontrolled bleeding, severe burns, head injury with loss of consciousness, or a suspected overdose.

Information on the Site may change

We work to keep the Site accurate, but we do not warrant that everything on it is current or error-free. Hours, wait times, services, staffing, self-pay pricing, and accepted insurance plans can change without notice. Posted wait times are estimates only and are not a guarantee of how long you will wait. Insurance coverage depends on your individual plan and benefits, and nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a final price. Please call us at (520) 232-2525 to confirm anything you intend to rely on.

Permitted use

You may view, download, and print material from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from Site content without our written permission. You agree not to use the Site in any way that is unlawful, that interferes with its operation or security, that attempts to gain unauthorized access to any system, or that scrapes or harvests data by automated means.

Intellectual property

The Sanova name and logo, and the text, images, graphics, layout, and other content on the Site, are owned by Sanova or used with permission and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing on the Site grants you a license to use any Sanova mark without our prior written consent. Third-party names and marks that appear on the Site belong to their respective owners.

Material you send us

Please do not send protected health information, photographs of injuries, or other sensitive personal details through the Site’s contact forms, by unencrypted email, or through social media. These channels are not secure and are not monitored around the clock. To discuss your care, call the clinic or speak with us at your visit.

Any question, comment, suggestion, or other non-medical material you submit through the Site is submitted on a non-confidential basis, and you grant us permission to use it to operate and improve our services without obligation or compensation to you. Reviews and testimonials you post on third-party platforms are governed by those platforms’ terms.

Links and third-party services

The Site links to services we do not control, including our online pre-registration tool, mapping and directions, appointment and review platforms, and other health information sources. We provide these links for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party site, and a link is not an endorsement. Once you leave sanovaurgentcare.com, that site’s own terms and privacy policy apply.

No warranty

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors or harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law, Sanova and its owners, clinicians, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of your access to or use of the Site — even if we have been advised that such damages are possible. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for professional services actually rendered to a patient.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes take effect when posted, and the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pima County, Arizona, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Website Privacy Statement

This statement explains what we collect through sanovaurgentcare.com and what we do with it. It applies to the Site only.

It is not our HIPAA notice. Protected health information created or received in the course of your care — your chart, visit notes, lab and imaging results, and billing records — is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is available at our front desk and on request. Where the two documents overlap, the Notice of Privacy Practices controls for protected health information.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web server and analytics tools record standard technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring page, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. We use this in aggregate to understand which pages are useful, to diagnose problems, and to improve the Site. We do not use it to try to identify you personally.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential Site functions, for analytics, and to remember your preferences. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the consent banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your choice later through your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies entirely; parts of the Site may not work correctly if you do. We honor recognized browser-level opt-out preference signals where required by law.

Information you give us

You may choose to give us personal information through the Site, for example when you submit a contact or question form, sign up for our email list, request records or billing help, complete online pre-registration before a visit, or apply for a job. Depending on the form, this may include your name, phone number, email address, and a short description of your reason for contacting us.

We use that information to respond to you, to schedule and prepare for your visit, to send the communications you asked for, and to keep records of our correspondence. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it to third parties for their own marketing.

Email and text messages

Email sent over the open internet is not a secure channel. Please do not use email or web forms to send clinical details, insurance identifiers, or other sensitive information.

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about appointments, pre-registration, results availability, and follow-up related to your care. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further texts, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts does not affect your care or your ability to reach us by phone. We do not share mobile numbers or text message content with third parties for marketing purposes.

Email marketing

If you subscribe to our email list, we use a third-party email platform to manage the list and send messages. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you by calling or emailing the clinic. Unsubscribing from marketing email does not stop transactional or care-related messages.

Third-party services on this Site

We use a small number of outside services to run the Site. These providers may set their own cookies or receive technical information about your visit, subject to their own privacy policies:

  • Website analytics, to measure traffic and page performance
  • Web fonts and embedded maps, to display the Site and provide directions
  • An email marketing platform, for our newsletter and sign-up forms
  • A reviews widget, to display patient reviews published on third-party platforms
  • An online pre-registration and patient intake service, which collects information you enter directly into it

Information you type into a third-party pre-registration or intake tool is handled under that provider’s agreement with us and, where the information is protected health information, under HIPAA.

Children

The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through the Site. We do treat minor patients at our clinics; information collected in the course of that care is handled under HIPAA and Arizona law, not this statement. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the Site, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect information submitted through the Site, including encryption in transit. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us over the internet.

Your choices

You may ask us what personal information we hold from your use of the Site, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to retain by law. Requests about your medical record are handled through our records process rather than this page — ask the front desk or call the clinic. To make a Site-related request, use the contact details below.

Changes to this statement

We may revise this statement as our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Material changes will be posted here.

Corporate Compliance

Our commitment

Sanova is committed to honest, ethical, and lawful conduct in every part of our practice — how we treat patients, how we document care, how we bill, and how we work with vendors and referral sources. Our compliance program is designed to prevent, detect, and correct conduct that does not meet that standard, and it applies to owners, clinicians, employees, students, volunteers, and contractors alike.

Standards we follow

Our policies address the areas that matter most in an outpatient setting, including:

  • Accurate coding, documentation, and billing, and prompt refund of overpayments
  • Prevention of fraud, waste, and abuse, and compliance with the federal False Claims Act and Arizona law
  • Compliance with anti-kickback and physician self-referral rules in our referral and vendor relationships
  • Screening of employees, contractors, and vendors against federal and state exclusion lists
  • Protection of patient privacy and the security of health information
  • Appropriate prescribing, including controlled substances, and safe medication practices
  • Non-discrimination in the services we provide and in employment
  • Regular compliance training for our team

Patient privacy and your HIPAA rights

Your health information is confidential. Federal and Arizona law give you specific rights over it, including the right to see and get a copy of your record, to ask that it be corrected, to request confidential communications, to ask for restrictions on certain disclosures, to receive a list of certain disclosures we have made, and to be notified if your information is breached. Our Notice of Privacy Practices explains these rights and how we use and disclose health information. Ask for a copy at the front desk, or call us and we will send one.

Reporting a concern

If you believe someone at Sanova has acted unethically or unlawfully, or that a billing, privacy, or patient safety issue needs attention, please tell us. You can raise a concern with any member of our leadership team, call (520) 232-2525 and ask for the compliance contact, or email [email protected]. You may report anonymously, and you do not have to be a patient to make a report.

We investigate reports we receive and take corrective action where it is warranted. We do not retaliate against anyone — patient, employee, or contractor — for raising a concern in good faith, and retaliation is itself a violation of our policy.

You also have the right to file a privacy complaint directly with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, or with the Arizona Department of Health Services. Filing a complaint will not affect the care you receive from us.
